In this class you will focus on:
Warming up at the barre with pliés, port de bras and tendus
Développés and petit développés to build turnout and control
Glissés from first and fifth position, building speed and coordination
Rond de jambe and fondu, working on fluid, resistance-led movement
Adage, focusing on slow développés, balance, and free-form stretching
Grand battements, including en cloche
Centre work combining port de bras, chassé, arabesque and pas de bourré
Dégagés and tendus in the centre, with the option of relevé or pirouette
Jumps in first and second position, and changements
A closing waltz sequence with balancé, posé arabesques and couru
